By accessing or using Caregivers Malaysia (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is a directory that lets independent, self-employed caregivers create a public profile, and lets prospective employers — families needing in-home support, or care centres with a staffing need (each, an “Employer”) — search and contact them directly. The Site is operated by Agensi Pekerjaan GLC; caregivers who complete a profile may also be considered as placement candidates by Agensi Pekerjaan GLC in addition to being contacted directly by Employers. The Site does not itself employ any caregiver listed.
Content on the Site is general information and is not medical, legal, financial or professional advice. A published profile is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of a caregiver’s competence, character, or suitability.
A profile is automatically verified and published only once the caregiver has completed every required field, including uploading a photo and an ID document. This confirms the profile is complete only — nobody manually reviews the uploaded ID, and it is not a criminal record check, identity check, reference check, or qualification verification. Employers must independently verify any caregiver’s identity, credentials and suitability before engaging them.
Any arrangement, agreement, payment or engagement between a caregiver and an Employer is solely between those parties. We are not a party to it, do not process payments, and have no involvement in setting rates, hours, or terms of engagement.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by providing false information, scraping data at scale, attempting to disrupt the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its operators shall not be liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise — arising from or connected with your use of the Site, any information on it, or any arrangement, engagement or interaction between a caregiver and an Employer. The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site and its operators from any claims or liabilities arising out of your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
